This will be short tonight as I need to finish packing for my flight back home. Prayers are appreciated for our flight as I am not the best passenger. I tend to get airsick. Please pray I don't get sick because I have to be strong for Tatum.
Jay has been such a trooper today. He got out and ran errands and then we decided to go to the Hollywood walk of fame. Let me tell you that was an experience. It was so dirty and reeked of pee and weed. Seriously, I was worried the kids might get high just smelling it! Hope they don't have drug dogs at the airport tomorrow, that might sniff Tatum and I out! Jay over did it with the trip to Hollywood! It was too much for him. He was pretty worn out by the time we got back to the car! Laurie has given him strict orders of not leaving the hotel tomorrow! He said he is going to the airport though.
I am so glad to be heading home tomorrow. While I am so thankful that I could be out here for Laurie and Jay, I am glad to be going home to Matt and Taylor.
I didn't mention it on the blog because I didn't want if over shadowing Jay's surgery and recovery, but Matt lost his job last Thursday due to the economy. I was torn. I was so far away, I felt I need to be there, but I also needed to be here! I cried myself to sleep praying that God would take care of us and God did! Matt got called into an interview on Monday with a company in Waxahachie that has a site in Cleburn. He spent 4 hours interviewing with them on Monday and they told him they would get back to him on Wednesday. They called him this morning to come in for a second interview and hired him! We are beyond thrilled and praising God for all His glory in this. We truly know that God had His protective hand on us! I just cannot tell you how thankful I am to God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon my family these past two weeks. It has been amazing to see His work!
God is Good, All the time!
All the time, God is good!
Be blessed and keep looking to the Lord!

Girl, you are awesome with all your updates! Thank you so much! I will say that because of your "experience" I am rethinking ever wanting to visit LA! You aren't the only one who has said the same thing about that place. I'm so glad that your husband found a job, that Jay is doing so well and that you are able to keep us all updated! Please send everyone my love and hugs! :)
I miss y'all!
Ewww! and PRAISE GOD!! So glad that Jay is doing well. My step dad has that same benign tumor by the way. He can't hear worth a lick in the left ear.
Kari,
God does take care of us when we have that relationship, doesn't He.
We know that you and Matt are deserving and while our heart breaks for Jay and Laurie, know that God will provide a solution. We are still praying.
